Default HORN PROJECT

One of my horns on my 996TT died. Not sure which one but the remaining one sounds terrible and it is pretty quiet. It seems the that the driving public has been notified of this because now people seem to be cutting me off or nearly backing into me on a regular basis. In any event, I have ordered OE replacement horns and will install in the next week or two. Meanwhile, I would also like to try this:

It looks like a really cool way to have some horn options. My question is whether there is room for an airhorn somewhere up front and where would I put the speaker so people could hear it.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I installed airhorns on mine right after I got it. I could stand the anemic stock horn sound. At the time Griot's garage sold a compact self contained unit. I check their website today and didn't see them. Looks like Amazon has something similar.

A Nautilus horn will fit in the small cavity created when you remove the OEM horns. You need to be a little creative but I did it. The Nautilus is a bit louder but not offensive.
Remember to orient it to drain rainwater - that is what causes the OEM horns to fail
