This is a great buy and a IMO a great upgrade. I put these on both of my turbos and the difference in sound vs. stock makes for a much improved driving experience. Someone needs to buy these.

Looks like an aesthetically slightly different design than what they offer now but a healthy discount. I am on the fence. It would allow me to keep my stock mufflers in good shape but my neighbors above the garage may not like it

I have these on my car. They are not loud at all. The car has kind of a motorboat sound when the cats are cold. The turbos act as a muffler so no issues and you lose almost 50lbs when removing the mufflers.

You are correct. Today's design has a sausage cut to the tips. Do it! Totally changes the personality of the car for the better.

At idle, is the only time they're loud. Once underway, they're fine. Try em out in a tunnel at WOT!!!!!!!

When you look at them from straight above, they're cut at an angle as opposed to straight cut. In other words, the sausage cut ones follow the curve of the bumper.

Well thats's the problem. They are loudest when I am idling in and out of the small multiunit residential garage I park in. Still tempting.

Unless you don't mind pissing off the neighbors, by most likely setting off every alarm, rattling a few windows, and possibly violating any HOA/Residential restrictions, I'd steer from them. They're fine in a standard street environment, but still very loud there. In a close nit, unit area, where the start up blast will get old? How much do ya care about their tears?

Here is a comparison between the early Fabspeed bypass (right) and the factory wide oval tips .

Scott - did you have those made up? How did it work out? I have two pair of the Fabspeed bypass tips and thought I'd sacrifice a pair to try something like that.

Thanks!
