Default Rockville Md to Annapolis Meet & Drive 11/9 10 am

Hi Guy's/Gals - I forgot to post this on the 993 TT board weeks ago when it was first conceived, so for anyone who's interested that doesn't frequent the 993 NA board, we're planning a little "Meet and Drive" this Sunday, 11/9 at 10am. Here's the info!

The "Rockville Md - Meet and Drive to Annapolis" is practically here! Any Porsche driving folk that care to can meet on Sunday, November 9th at 10am at the Starbucks in Rockville, MD. It's at the corner of Old Georgetown Rd and Rockville Pike in the parking lot at Starbucks (in front of the Toys R Us). We'll meet, check out each other's cars, and chat from 10am-10:50am or so, then head up to Annapolis Md to Carol's Creek Waterfront Restaurant http://www.carrolscreek.com/ where we can park in their 2 hour validated lot. From 12-12:30pm we can take a 2 minute walk over to Cherner Classics http://www.cherner.com/classiccars/
to check out their awesome selection of 60's-70's muscle cars and interesting sports cars of the 80's and 90's, then walk back and eat lunch together at 12:30pm at Carol's Creek Waterfront Restaurant. It's supposed to be a fantastic Sunday Brunch ($18.95 p/p). I have a reservation for 10 people, so I hope that's close to the correct amount of people coming.

Directions to Annapolis if you just want to meet there...DIRECTIONS FROM WASHINGTON, D.C.
Take Route 50 East to Exit 24, Rowe Boulevard. After the second light at Taylor Avenue follow Rowe Boulevard as it curves to the right and ahead to Church Circle. At the circle, stay to the right and make a hard right just before The Maryland Inn onto Duke of Gloucester Street. Go straight to the end of Duke of Gloucester, passing the brick St. Mary's Church, location of John Carroll's historic home. Go right and proceed over the Spa Creek Bridge. After the bridge take a left at the light onto Severn Avenue. Continue driving a block and a half down Severn Avenue. Carrol's Creek is in the grey marina complex with the bright red railings; the entrance is in the middle of the block on the left. Turn left into the gated complex. Parking is always plentiful and free!
