viperbob, how was your track weekend?

It was great. Car did fine. It is going to take a few events to get used to the car. I need to make some tweaks on some things (stiffen rear sway bar). Also need to try to get some stiffer springs as there was a little too much compression in a few areas. But I can not find anyone that can tell me the static / sitting on my work bench/ height of the springs. I have called Bilstein a couple of times, and they have not gotten back to me.
Brakes started to get soft in the afternoon on the second day. When they did, I packed it up and headed for home. I was inside cars (mine and my students) for 5 hours on Saturday in 100+ temps. LOTS of track time was available.. It was a great time.
I did not have a Hot Lap unit, so I had trouble telling how I was improving (I corrected that this week). This and my brake cooling kit will be installed before my next track event....
I'm doing an oil return tube replacement on Saturday. Stop by if your bored...

No clue. I was hanging around someone that was running 1:36s just putting in some time and not pushing it with a passenger. That was the closet I had to a lap time. After some fixes, hopefully faster....

Your lap times are respectable, thats what I did in my 72 911 before
I blew it up. Most racers are using Elbach springs, need to measure
the diameter of the spring to be sure if its compatible, might consider
adding spring tenders to lessen the intial harshness for the street.
Looks like your turning it into a track car if thats the case some mods
I would consider are: ERP suspension components to get rid of all the rubber bushings and add camber, Lower car, get it corner balanced,
adding more down force, race slicks, roll cage, fire system, fiberglass
doors, race seats, fuel cell, lexan windows, and lots of seat time.
