Default Got some new Turbo Oil Return Lines (TORL)

I just rec'd the package with my new TORL's.

I have the check valves installed since 06, however last yr I found the TT was dripping some oil from driver side turbo when stored for more than 3 weeks - thus I have moved ahead with these p-trap style TORL's. Hopefully this solves the oil drip.

Scheduled install will be late fall once the snow starts to fly.

Install pic's to follow. ;-)

The install only takes about 30-45 mins. Just drain the tanks on the turbos, pull old lines and replace. Looks good. Who made them, and how much may I ask?

I bought them from RUF Germany. ~ 180 Euro for the pair.

Access to the scavenger pump connection looks really tight, is it possible to get a wrench in there w/out taking off the cats?

Kevin with UMW has his own custom version. I have them on my 97 Turbo S and last year had them installed on my 97 TT, they work great. They were installed at the same time his check values were installed. Couldn't be happier with the set up. I get zero smoke at start up, even when sitting for a month.

Easily!!!! This is the area on the pump that the lines return to. I made my own April of 2013 and they're doing great. Just use a flare nut open end wrench and you'll be fine. If you're installing the "hard lines", I'd start at the console, and then get them to fit into the tanks. Would be a bear to have to fight in that tight space. At the tanks, you'll have more leverage and room to move the lines.Name: image.jpg

I actually had to grind a little area of the pump console, to get the "AN" adapter to fit flush. Not fun. You should be good, if you start both lines at the console, then finish at each tank.

Read the install instructions on Kevin's (UMW) website. You may also want to use the high temp sealant on the threads. I think you can buy on Amazon.
