Our 993's just keep getting more and more special.
I frequent the ferrarichat board and 993's have been a topic that's come up on the Challenge Stradale thread. See the last page of this thread.

I've found a lot of overlap between CS fans and 993 fans. Good group of people in both camps!

You left your car on a battery maintainer while not driving verses disconnecting the battery, right?
I have smog late this fall. In prep I have an extension cord going around my neighbors car in SF to my trickle charger.
Misfire, Fuel system and Comprehensive Components all reset themselves easily.
But, Catalyst, Evaporative System, Secondary Air System, Oxygen Sensor and Oxygen Sensor Heater do not reset after one drive in my experience.
That's per a Uscan obd-2 reader.

It appears that Kmy has fallen asleep. I can assure you he lives in California, in the SF Bay area. Ruf Turbo Rs typically have no issues with smog testing. Gads... I miss mine.

Thanks Steve. Sorry guys. Been traveling for work and not checking rennlist nearly as much as I should (which is at least 10x daily!!).
Yes, I do in fact live in CA which is at times a blessing and a curse!
And yes, I do have the car hooked up to a battery tender 100% of the time. I've never had a smog issue (knock on wood).
It's been 7 years since my car came back home from getting the RUF treatment and she still brings a smile to my face every mile I drive. It's interesting that the car seems to get 2x the looks and thumbs up today than 9 years ago (I bought it back in 2006 and drove it 2 years before sending to RUF). I guess that's a reflection of the timelessness of the 993 design. The biggest regret I have is I've only logged 12K miles over the past 7 years. Need to get out and drive MORE!!!

I've had radical progressive hackers give me a thumbs up on Mission Street who are usually doing tags and dumping paint on Ferrari's.
Some counties in CA are a little easier then others?
SB100 isn't going to last forever. I'd like to get an RXC Radical street legal. I go off topic . . . .

I as well just passed the ol' Cali sniffer and by a mile! I'll have to double check but it seemed be as clean as our stock 997CS.
Now my motor only has 4k miles on it but nice to know the RS CAMs and 100 cell Race cats worked perfectly within our Cali restraints.
