Q,

OK, where have I been that I missed this? Looks good Q. I am sure you are having lots of fun... When I get a chance, I will be sending my K24s off to Kevin to get some work done (that zero clearance, titanium wheel thing). Hopefully I'll be able to do a dyno run before and after. Might be a nice winter project for you. Wait a minute, this is your winter. OK, then you better hurry and get it done yourself. See you already have a nice before dyno graph. All you need to do is remove your turbos, ship them to the states, and Kevin can fix you up in a couple fo days.

So besides unreal photos, what else do you have planned for the car???

Yes, that's us. For those who don't know, our company (Vishnu Performance Systems) currently specializes in WRX and Lancer Evolution tuning. But we are on the verge of releasing some products for the 993 as well. One of these, of course, is the XEDE. We're looking forward to meeting you guys one day.

Best Regards,
Shiv Pathak

Shiv it is a small world. I was wondering if people knew about vishnu as
I was reading this. Vishnu tuning has a very good rep amungst wrx
fans (I am one of those as well). Lots of people run the xeced on wrxs and
soon to be on stis. I had a feeling you were going to get into 993 tt
bc I heard a bunch of references to them in your posts on naisioc.
Party on guys

Q,

How is it you manage to take every pix like you set it up in a studio ? Even in a dingy little dyno room ?

Nice work on your car! Don't go having too much fun now...

Could you help out with the following questions.....

1. Did you upgrade your fuel pressure in tandem with the rest of your mods?

2. Would you happen to have AFR charts before and after?

3. How difficult was it to plumb the Xede into your existing ECU?

4. What kind of boost readings are you getting now?

Congrats on your results

cheers,
Kris

Hi KRISH,

You beat me by a day !
I was holding off sending you an email until I had been to the drags.
I have literally just returned from there now ....but more about that later.

How is it you manage to take every pix like you set it up in a studio ? Even in a dingy little dyno room ?
....all the world is a stage ?

1) total mods are:
- pod filter
- k24's - HiFlowed
- millie miglia mufflers
- 5.0 bar FPR
- std computer +Xede computer

2) In my infinite stupidity, I forgot to print the AFR out on the dyno sheets.
So, I have uploaded the data logs from a dyno run when standard, and in current form - for you to compare the AFR's
DATA LOGS HERE

3) How difficult to plumb ?
Any good workshop will have it wired in under 2 hrs
A picture is worth a thousand words....
**CLICK**

4) the data logs show the boost readings also

and finally, the 1/4 mile run....

when my car was std, it ran 12.6 @ 108mph
tonight the track temperature was 27C [ 80.6F] at 6pm !
I managed an 11.9 @ 113mph [most runs for the night were 115mph ]
Cool weather no doubt will yield some more interesting results.
*CLICK*

cheers

Hi Q,

....all the world is a stage ?
Isn't that the truth.....

Thanks for all the info. You're a true member of this board. But any one who heads down to the dragstrip midweek whilst the rest of us have that luxury only on the weekend (jealousy brimming to the surface here) I have no love for .

She sounds sweet and really dialled in and that's always music to the rest of us!!

cheers,
Kris

This Xede thingie is interesting. How's it compare to UniChip?
The CA dealer (http://www.vishnutuning.com/welcome.htm) has an AWD dyno.
