Default syvec standalone

working on my E-85 conversion
Over 120 hours creating schematics, wiring and debug. No CEls and a valid Obd2 port. I was able to all this without cutting any factory wires.

No idea what any of that stuff is but looks mightily impressive

Can you explain what exactly you are doing here and how you will actually "tune" the motor for E85 ?

The Syvec is engine management system like the factory Motonic. The Syvec will allow me to run as a flex fuel car. The reason I want to do this is for the higher horse power potential.

There are many benefits. I'm mostly interested in traction control/ anti lag/ flex fuel.

Nice work!

Have you seen this thread over at the 993 section? https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...er-1000-a.html

It uses a PNP ECU based on Megasquirt3. It has Flex Fuel sensor input and many other features. I run the MS3 in my Miata track car and plan to run it in my Turbo charged C4S.

I would love to hear more about your progress. A modern stand alone ECU offers some great features over what was available 20+ years ago. Kudos!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your inspection. If it all works that's great.

Let's share notes on E85 tuning. I plan to do that next.

You could also take a look at a company called PRO-EFI; they design & build standalone ECU management systems that have flex fuel capability.

wow sweet setup. You must be an electrical engineer? I wish my AEM was installed as nicely as you did yours.
