OT: I finally meet the lunatic, viperbob...
A long, and great road trip with my son is drawing to an end, and today I drove over to Los Altos to meet the famed, Rennlist lunatic, viperbob. When I say lunatic, I mean it in the most positive way. His car (although still apart, darn it) is looking fantastic. "Just wait", says viperbob, "there's more coming". He is not afraid to tackle the most challenging job.
Bob took a short drive in my car, and listened to some odd noises, and jiggled the suspension a bit. As I suspected, my visit to Bob is going to cost me some loot. I'm sorta glad I didn't get to ride in his car, as that woulda cost me a ton more, I am sure.
Bob is a true P-car fanatic, and very generous with his time, knowledge, beer, and even a few extra parts. I came away from our afternoon glad to have met him, his wife and son (our boys played Gamecube together most of the time). If there is such a thing as a Rennlist ethic, Bob has it in spades. Thanks Bob, glad to have finally met you...

We are extremely fortunate to have viperbob amongst us.
Bob recently gave up his Sunday morning to teach me about changing the oil in my TT. Another Rennlister, Eric, was right behind me in line for his oil change.
As Steve said, Bob lives the Rennlist ethic of helping fellow enthusiasts.
Thanks, Bob.

My turn to jump on the Viperbob bandwagon. He is truly one of the nicest guys you'll find. He'll help with just about anything. Very generous with his time. We're all fortunate to live near him and receive his generosity and helping hand.
A model Rennlister.

Viperbob is Viperbob, I've never met him in person but feel as I do thru
email. I like the the way he does things and it shows. Probably bump
into him at the race track one of these days.

I don't visit this forum often, but I'm glad I did.
Bob, is da Man! Super-knowledgeable, willing to help all the time, and well equipped when it comes to his garage. Name the tool, he's probably got it. And he's extremely hospitable! Man, he's got a cool stainless steel bbq grill. What else could you ask for?
