Left work and ran upon a trucker moving his 1.1 million dollar load around across from our shipping dept, so I stopped to slobb...ehh...visit and take a few shots. Also, a black and silver 67 or 68 GT500E Eleanor

He mentioned it was sold to someone in New York for around that amount. Rear tag indicated a dealer in Denver area. Beautiful car and it sounded sweet. One can dream,eh?

The lack of this version is what drives the price up. Only 182 produced for the US. 424 worldwide.
They are very lavish inside and out. More power than the TT. Paint to Sample and custom interior for each and every one.

Novice or not, I'm sure many will agree it's tough to understand in this crazy market that it commands easily over $150K vs. a non S, as pointed out in this sale.
As noted above your really paying for exclusivity and status. From a driving perspective, it's no where near that added premium.

Lawrence Stroll paid $27.5 million for a '67 Ferrari last year. Now that's crazy.......but if you bought it in '67 for $16k you'd be a financial wizard. Be interesting to see what these rare cars are worth when interest rates start to rise over the next few years.
