If you want a great looking alum shifter to use while you look for the original tt type, get the 996 turbo one. IMO, best looking shifter from Porsche.

Guys,
I have the aluminum shifter and ebrake I could sell. I wouldent normally want to break up the set but this seems like a good opportunity.
I will have to do some research to figure out what they are worth and I can take pictures and communicate with you both next week.
Interested?
EDIT: This is intended for Bryan and Ian...I screwed up the multi quote.

Not a problem. I am looking for the shifter. PM me details and your number and we can catch up live. LA dismantlers had them at one point used for just under $300, but of course out of them. I would say anything around the $300 price for shifter is fair to me. I sold my RUF for $300 as well to basically end up even as I wasn't trying to make money, just wanted to solve my problem. If we can make it work that would be great.

Chat soon,
Bryan

Still looking. I hate to keep the guy on hold who already purchased my RUF ****.

Bump to the top.

Bryan:

I think I have the shifter you are looking for.
It is factory original 993 tequipment black leather with aluminium top.
It has some signs of use / wear over the aluminium / alloy top
Leather is immaculate no holes or tears.
I removed it from my 993 turbo and installed a carbon fiber and aluminium one.
Photos attached.

Doc, yes that is the one. Are you in the states or no? PM me info and also what you want for it.

Thanks,
Bryan
