Love my Cayenne turbo but I'll never buy another. ALWAYS in for repairs. I never minded it much since dealer would pick up and drop off loaners as long as Porsche was paying the warranty bill. But now its out of warranty and i think i hate it.....

Infinity FX 50S.........just as fast as Cayenne turbo w/o lag.....about half the cost...........never breaks.......and I mean never.........the Rising sun people REALLY have reliability figured out.

Yeah plasticy inside in comparison to my full leather Cayenne TT but a no brainer. Get a 50S and save 50k. I have both & Infinity is superior as a daily.

Daily drivers should be Infinities......they do what they are intended to do....drive daily.........and this particular FX 50-"S" with the big V8 engine and OEM 295/40/21" wheels/tires and sport adjustable suspension even hauls family FAST!!! oh and its a beast in the snow too...superior to Cayenne TT in snow ...not even close IMO.

We have similar tastes on this board so I am hoping to see what you all drive or if you have any suggestions. I'm inclined to keep my car as it's not worth a whole lot. Looking to see what the difference delta would be to move into something newer.

Thanks for now.
Well, just flew to Vegas to pick up 05 G500 and am in Portland, on my way home. 2400 km in 4 days with a 4 year old girl and no complaints from either of us!! Death Valley is very "cool" and worth it if you haven't had the chance.
I spend a lot of time in my daily driver and need to find a little joy in my environs - idiosyncratic is not a bad word and this is a very enjoyable vehicle.

2010 (B8) S4 for me. I think B7 was last generation you could get a proper manual though instead of the dual-clutch type trans. B7 was also last gen of the wagon which I'd prefer, but the B8 S4 is great to drive, can carry 4 people or stuff, so overall I'm pleased.

Panamera 4 for me. Not fast but handles well for a big car.

My 2010 S-line Audi Wagon. Love it! Great for hauling my bike and I really like the Sporty non-sportscar look. The new ones just don't do it for me.

Golf R. It's manual and AWD, not bad for Vancouver winters and still fun to drive for around $35K.

I like quirky old Japanese cars. I own several, and can't help myself from owning them. This one is my daily driver. '71 Datsun 1200 Coupe. I bought it from the original owner 2 years ago; it sat in her garage untouched for 15 years. I dropped the gas tank and had it professionally cleaned, rebuilt the carb and fuel pump, replaced the plugs/plug wires/hoses/etc...started on second revolution and runs like a sewing machine.
