Default WTT: Here's your chance, my C2 for your Turbo

"Driving quickly in a slower car is alot more fun than driving as quickly in a faster car."

Interested to see if there are any willing parties open to a trade. My 993 plus cash for your turbo. I have a well-sorted and squared away Speed Yellow 993 with 47,xxx miles on the ODO in nearly perfect condition. I went through great lengths around this time last year to have Tony Callas inspect the car from bumper to bumper before I settled on purchasing what I've come to consider a dream car. However, I've been toying with the idea of upgrading for some time and wanted to see if there's any bites. If not, so be it -- I honestly have no regrets. I still get the chills every time the garage door opens and I see what's inside.

No accidents, clean carfax, etc. etc. She's perfect. Upon completion, 5 days later, Tony concluded, and I quote, "If you don't buy this car, I just might. You would be stupid to pass this one up." All service is up to date and I have a book with records on hand (including Tony's top to bottom Pre-Purchase Inspection).

I understand this isn't a very tempting proposition given the 993 turbo is highly coveted and increasing in value, but if I could afford it I would have both.

As beautiful and desirable as my SY 993 is, nothing tightens my pants like 3.6 liters producing 400 h.p.

PM if interested, if not, there's nothing to see here..

That's the funniest line I've read all week

(and as a fellow owner of a '97 TT you are very right)

Nice!
I almost bought a friends 993c2S, it was a great car but didn't think it was much faster than my chipped old '85. Then drove the same friend's new to him 993turbo... I knew I had to get one too and the rest is history! Suspect there aren't going to be many takers

Best of luck. I had an offer in on a beautiful Ocean Blue C2S 5 years ago and was glad it fell through my first tt test drive. Wouldn't mind one now as a daily driver/autocross/track vehicle though. Still my favourite NA Porsche....

If that were really true, I would have never sold my '81 SC.
Faster cars, younger women and older whiskey, I say
