Default Fuel setup for +600hp

I have no clue what my new GT2 motorsport engine will be putting out with the beefier turbos and no restrictors but I want to make sure the power is not limited by fuel. And I am also concerned about using stock fuel system at the track (starvation in long curves).

The homologation GT2 used a 100 litre FIA fuel Cell with three Bosch 044 pumps running linear (one being a reserve pump). But that was for the engine with smaller turbos and 34.7mm restrictors on the turbo intake.

Ultimately I will throw in a racing cell but I am looking for a phase I setup and thinking I'd get two 044s and run them parallel inside a collector tank. Can I feed the collector tank with the original fuel pump if I also run the return into the collector tank? Or do I need to swap the original 964# fuel pump with a third 044 also?

Something like this (sorry it's in Finnish but you get the idea):

I have no idea but that sounds serious!
I got a headache trying to figure out if pumps were better in series for parallel for our application. I put in a 044 pump in series with the stock pump (looked up all the flow rates and there wasn't much of a difference between the 044 vs stock at same pressures - the difficulty is the flow may be listed at 3.8 bar or 5 bar and not both). The older 930's had pumps in series. I supposed it comes down to what's more important Head pressures (series better) or flow (parallel better). Not sure which is better at same pressures (say 5 bar), and which system would allow for more safety. Suspect not much difference.
If you use a stock pump for a 'collector' (I assume you're talking about a reservoir?) that the twin pumps work on, I would think the increased flow from the twin pumps could cause starving since the single pump can't ever keep up... I would think using a collector tank, although sounds very cool, could get tricky.

- need some engineering type to chime in, not really sure what I'm talking about. (lunch is almost over, have to get back to work)

Parallel and start the second pump on boost demand, don't like the 044's, I use the SX pumps, never have one miss a beat, cheers.

Hey Juha , I was planning on using a similar setup for this engine but without the catchtank since the fuel cell i had had a built in catch tank , the injectors you've got are for low pressure (3bar) but can handle a lot of volume the fuel pressure regulator also is a 3bar item so low pressure high volume is the way to go . I do like the idea of only starting the second pump under boost , this saves power and keeps the pumps ( and the fuel )cooler !

I still have some pics to send but i'm experiencing problems with my email account....
