Default Turbo S oil cooler & air con temps

Anyone with the additional turbo s oil cooler noticed a decline in the vent temp when its super hot?

Being in the UK today was the first time I noticed it (had the car over 3 years)

Outside temp was 25c to start and vent temp was under 10c so I was happy with that. Later with outside temp well over 33c under about 20mph vent temp was about 20c, over 60mph that dropped down to mid teens which again I was happy with. So its the additional heat on the condesor from the super hot oil cooler that is reducing the performance, right?

I had the s cooler on my old car and never felt any drop in temp from the a/c, even when in stop traffic well above 30 C. Sounds like you may want to have your ac system checked. 20 degrees is too warm to cool the car, and 25 is not very warm. I did replace the compressor at one point as well. Stay Cool

The S cooler is some way away from the AC condenser. Is the condenser's cooling fan working correctly? Cleaning the space in front of the condenser could help - when mine leaked I found quite a few leaves and a very desiccated (dead) bird in front of it.

The fan seems to be working ok. As I said, the vent temp was under 10c to start with, only seemed to go up when I slowed down and the engine was hot, which made me think the oil cooler is dumping 50c+ air on the condenser and effecting its performance. I will have another play this weekend and see what I can find!
