Interesting. This car undoubtedly started life as a C2S or C4S. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Its hard to determine if the engine itself is Ruf Turbo R, or someone else's tweaked engine. Nor do we know how many miles are on the engine. Many questions. Looks pretty though!

Top Gear has one hell of a photobooth and photographer. Great looking Turbo.

Looks nice from the pictures, but the PPI seems to tell a story. Welding a cracked wheel...

I emailed them on it, all the ruf paperwork is in order. I think the price is negotiable based on the ppi. If it was black or midnight I'd be interested.

For the right price this could be a lot of car for the money. With the repaint history you could even do a complete color change. Did you find out the date and milage when RUF performed their magic?

Anyone want to take a stab at market value? $75k doesn't seem too bad given the PPI

EDIT: read through PPI a couple more times. Mechanically not bad. Body wise not so sure, doubt I will pursue.

I'm in the market for something unique but no rush.

Yeah, if the RUF work checks out seems like a decent deal. Still a project to get it completely ready... brakes, tires, perhaps that wheel issue, cosmetics. But a decent platform to start with.

I am not convinced that it is an actual RUF engine conversion. That shop is unknown. And it didn't cost enough! Plus, the turbo r conversion usually includes a total exhaust system.

Unless they have documented RUF letterhead receipts, it isn't a RUF conversion. They do have a lot of Ruf cosmetic bits.

The brakes are absolutely too small for a turbo car. And so are the c2s sway bars.

Sounds like a Frankenstein car. Btw, the drivers seat photos have some serious photoshopping.

These are just my opinions. And a warning to anyone who may be interested.

Doesn't seem like a Turbo R to me... I think it's misrepresented. A lot of that going around lately.

There have been a number of threads about this seller. They bought a 993TT from me a while back. The front clip of my car was subsequently painted (by them). When I called to inquire on the car I was told it had "no known paintwork". Buyer beware.
