Default Interesting Car at Road Scholars

Interesting car at Road Scholars with a price to match I am told. I believe this car was previously at Truspeed. Any thoughts?

It was at Truspeed...for me the Andial engine work done does not bump the price to the degree that it has, if memory serves me correctly the price is ~ $200K

The Andial work isn't going to help much, but with the unique color, low mileage, and desirable options, I don't think they're far off. I'd guess $170k-185k.

Yes sir their price is $200k. Beautiful car! but that's one hell of a surcharge for the orange color.

I had an interesting discussion with Bruce Canepa the other day about 993 Twin Turbo prices and the subject of the high prices for 993 Turbo S cars came up. His view was that there are quite a few Turbo S cars for sale at very high prices, but very, very few actually sell at those prices.

My 1997 Turbo is paint to sample Signal Yellow with Black interior, full carbon fiber interior, sunroof delete, rear wiper delete, heated hard back sport seats and a few other options mileage is 10,030 ... while I am no planning on selling if someone to offer $185K I would seriously consider it.

I know Bruce had what we might term "an unfortunate outing" with a 993 Twin Turbo that he sold to someone on this site. [There are some things in life that simply cannot be explained by rational thought processes and that incident is surely one of them.] That said, I have talked to him a few times over the years and my sense is that he does know the market quite well. And, at the end of a tough day, I look forward to viewing his web site and the latest dream cars he has acquired over the past week. In fact, I would have to say that, in my opinion, no one has quite the selection of cars that he does.

Thanks for the head-up. (I can confirm the car is on the Andial Registry.) I'm going to add pictures of the car to the Andial Registry spreadsheet.

If my wife hears about these asking prices, El Guapo is in jeopardy.

Agree, he's very knowledgable, I almost bought a 959 from him a few years ago.
