Appluad you for your efforts and shows that if you put your mind to it, it is definitely possible. Very cool project.

Stunning car!!!

Your task list sounds like my annual service on the 993.
Really most of thhe things you had to deal with are normal wear items, that is if the car sees significant track time like mine does.
It seems that the previuous owner forgot the maintenance part of owning and driving a Porsche. Or then it was intentionally left for the future owner...

I'm following behind with my GT2 build.

I admire you sticking with it. I once bought a 1969 911 "Professionally Rebuilt As A 3.0 Carrera RS" at an auction. Looked great at first, but...

Got it home and, erm, it was clear whoever rebuilt it might have been a professional hairdresser, but they certainly weren't a professional P-car builder. Looked at what'd cost to make good and ended up putting it on eBay 'as-seen'.

That said, you've done a fabulous job. I'd just return to a black splitter and lose the 997.2 GT3 RS-style GT2 decals...

Subscribed, as I'd love to see more pics and some of it being used too...

Thanks for the comment and as far as the decals, it's one of those things that either you love them or you don't. I totally dig them though and they look sick in person

It's actually Bryan, Allan is my friend. We initially bought the car together when it was back in Minnesota and I bought him out when it finally arrived here in California and I began the over year long build on it

Ahh ok sorry about that. I'd love to see it someday as I'm not that far from you. Car looks great and I'm sure it runs even better. I just got my car back and it was down for 11 months so I can understand some of the emotions you are experiencing.

Anytime man, you are up by 5150 right? I was there all the time picking up parts from Mike & Christine during the build.
