RS Cam/Lifter follow-up
Fellow TT owners,
Sorry about closing the thread before posting the answer to my own question. Apparently there was some confusion on my end about different lifter part numbers between the RS 3.8 car and my TT in terms of the lifter assy. I have just ordered the standard TT lifter assy and will update everyone on who the car is once I get it back. I did a number of changes and excited to have it back to drive.

Chris, in that case I am in goodhands. though my wallet is about to be mugged.
btw, my last name is Armstrong as well and I could really confuse people by having a carmstrong User Name. But it would have to be carmstrongls7 in tribute to my old C6Z06.

Well I didn't kill mine but it is sold. Unfortunately that car in some ways ruined me as it put down 700rwhp passed California Smog, got decent gas mileage(on freeway), cornered well and drove like stock.

Well I would not call Mike Schatz a Monk by any stretch of imagination!
More of a surly savant.
He'll get you right.
FWIW, El Guapo has RS cams and hydraulic lifters.
