Mobil 1 V-Twin Oil Question
I recently switched over to this oil based on the postive analysis that has come back from some of the members here. I am in proces of having a top-end rebuild done to my car and the discussion on whether this oil is ok for O2 sensors and Cats came up. Since the bottle itself doesn't address it one way or the other it got us to thinking. In the initial research I've done it seems like there is a fairly high amount of Zn & Ph in the oil and thus its not good for O2 sensors or Cats.
Has anyone approached Mobil 1 on this? I'm assuming the pioneers on here using this oil looked into this. I'm just making sure as I was asked to do so.
Thanks,
Chad

Hey Chad! Excellent question. This was always one of my concerns, too. I checked several times with Kevin, and he said I was good-to-go. So, I have not worried. I think even Steve W. recommends this oil too, as does Charles Navarro. That's enough for me.
I've done almost 30,000 miles in the Turbo with V-Twin, and you know my UOA are excellent.
