And does it look better or worse for it ?

I think I like the tacked on look more here is the D Morris carbon all in one spoiler/boot lid

+1. Count me in for the "tacked on" look as well.

Can't imagine what the price delta on that carbon spoiler would be vs OEM.

I like the S wing. If you have it and like it, keep it.

Not as simple as that, I have all three, OEM stock, OEM S and OEM GT2 and sway different ways on different days, I guess others are the same ?

Personally, I like them both. The turbo wing is smooth, and compliments the body lines of the 993 very well. I also like the air intakes on the Turbo S wing. I'll take one of each, please.

You just have way too many options. I like that.

I LOVE the looks of both tails, but I switched to the S wing on the recommendation of Ruf. They felt it was a better match to the Ruf front splitter. It is a more efficient design with more downforce and less drag. At least I think this is true, and it seems intuitive (a "spoiler" versus a "wing"). At the speeds I drive, it matters little.

I think the Turbo S rear wings goes well with the S lip. I haven't actually seen the S front lip in real life but the countless pics Ive seen make the front end look more "Boxy" which I think matches with the TTs wing as it has more "strict" lines. Thats probably why Ive always thought the TTs front lip dont go well with the TT tail. Sucks that other than the TTs there's no more options for lips, they should've had a simple rubber (?) one available like on the 964, 997 etc..

I'm a big fan of the Turbo S aerokit/look. In fact I purchased an OEM aerokit II but then couldn't bring myself to alter my TT from the way it came from the factory.

Just the little piece is tacked on. The wing itself is the main part of the decklid.
