As far as I know, that car was sold for mid-$40's to Los Angeles Porsche Dismantler about 4 weeks ago. My buddy overseas asked me to call and make an offer and the dealership told me they had a done deal .. next thing I see is L.A.P.D. selling the wheels and seats for ludicrous asking money on fleaBay ..

Note the 996 style turbo badge. Probably means rear end paint work. Since you cannot get a 993 badge anymore all you can get is the 996 style. Some bodyshops may not realize the difference since the 993 part number updates to the 996 emblem.

^^^ Stealth993 did a Renfax for one of his friends and said the car had been painted on both ends very poorly .. bad paint match and the hood clear coat was crazing. Interior had all those extra idiot lights purportedly to mark shifting points .. hardback shells on the seats were scratched and gouged .. he said not saveable, would either have to be prepped and painted or replaced .. then whatever a PPI would have revealed.
I spoke to the owner of the shop that had maintained the car from 2006-2009. He had done the turbo upgrade and ECU remap and said at that time, the car was flawless cosmetically and mechanically but had heard from others that it had been sold to a 'kid' and trashed.
