Default 993 Stock Intercooler

I've upgraded my OEM unit and I'm wondering what the value of this is? 100% working and functional condition- anyone know? Thanks..

Edit: My apologies if I've posted this in the wrong section.

A brand new one was being sold at pelican and on ebay for like $1,600.

I used one..maybe $1k to $1200 on the very high side.

Most of the aftermarket intercoolers don't seem to work as well as or better than the stock unit. One exception is the Secan unit which was used by Porsche Motorsports, and was a "cost-is-no-object" piece of art. One of our Rennlisters, BasalSkull, constructed his own from two 996TT units (I think). He has done some interesting testing of his unit, and the results are pretty darn good.

I will say the big FVD intercoolers really look bitchin'.

Thanks, Basal for the correction. I really admire your handiwork and determination.

One more thought for JFlow1... sealing the intercooler to "force" the cooling air thru it and not around it is probably just as important as the size and flow of the intercooler itself. Which intercooler did you get? Any photos?

The kids asked, "what do you want for Father's Day?" And I responed "a Secan". They said "ok, cool, we'll tell mom".

May I ask how much does the Protomotive charged for the intercooler?
