Anybody need/want some track pads?
I've had these things hanging around the house for a long time!
Make me an offer!

They are Mintex C-Tech (M1166 Compound) competition brake pads. Mintex makes 3 levels of the C-Tech compound and the M1166 is considered their most aggressive pad and they say "Track Use Only". Comparable to Pagid Black (I think). Asking $100 shipped.

Yeah, it's been a while, but bumping this thread because I just stumbled across these pads in the dark recesses of my garage again. The pads along with this thread just dropped off my radar. They are collecting dust (Literally) and not doing anyone any good, so make an offer.

I don't know if the appropriate term is "hard", but they most certainly require some heat before they will work well. My experience with dedicated track pads is that you want to be very, VERY aware of what is going on around you prior to them getting some temperature in them. So, backing out of the garage first thing in the morning? Yeah, give yourself some extra room to stop.
