The Beverly Hills seller does not appear to have a good handle on 993 Turbos. On their website they infer that it is a Turbo S when it clearlky is not. Also, the aftermarket front bumper is kind of ugly and the seats look beat.
1997 Porsche Turbo 993
In 1997, Porsche introduced a limited run of the 993 911 Turbo S. Essentially, 183 copies of the model were sold.
The additions to this particular model are, a boost of 24 PS (17.7 kW) over the regular Turbo's 400 PS (294 kW), as well as modifications to the body; this includes a scoop on the side right behind the doors for engine cooling and vents on the whale tail rear spoiler. Because of its raw power and reliability, and due to the fact that they are final year of the air-cooled 911 Turbo cars, the 993 Turbo models still command a massive premium.
This particular car is silver with black interior, with Recaro seats, carbon fiber, turbo embroidery on back seats and turbo crest on front seats. It has 36,884 original miles and was always garaged and treated with care. As stated above it is the last year of the air cooled Porsche and very sought after; mechanically excellent. For $79,500
Check the history. The car may have been in their rental fleet.
