don't think 2 to 3 covers it.

turbos have to come off, which can be a timely affair.

Default What check valve kit did you have problems with?

Why did you have to remove the check valve kit for the turbos?

I just had my lower valve covers and gaskets replaced last week, along with a few other pro-active maintenance items (new MAF sensor, plugs, air filter, fuel filter, updated UMW check valve, oil change). Total bill was $3,100.

The LVC portion of the bill was right at about $1,000. I was charged 5 hours labor at $115 per, and about $500 in parts (all OEM). My LVC were not leaking, just weaping, and I'm a perfectionist.

They said they might be able to get it on with the turbo still attached at least on one side, but would not commit to a time under 10 hrs.

Thanks for the info. Would be interesting to have a poll with costs to have this job done. I haven't seen oil on the ground in 6 weeks so I'm holding off for the time being.
