Techron question
Ever since reading Bruce Anderson's book on 911's decades ago, I have been adding one 20oz bottle of Techron just before filling the tank (every 3000 miles or thereabouts). Is there any reason to not continue to do this with the tt?

If you buy quality 93 octane from a busy gas station, you don't need to do much more.
I use the Chevron Fuel Sysytem Cleaner with Techron once per year, prior to winter hibernation and the the last oil change of the year. During winter hibernation, I use the Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer.
I also try to purchase 93 octane pure gas, without 10% ethanol. But it's getting harder and harder to find.

I use a bottle of techron in the last tankful of gas immediately preceding an oil change.
On storage with fuels containing ethanol, I've read and been advised that the Stabil marine formula (green) color) should be added to the tank when storing the vehicle as well as ensuring the tank is as full as possible.
