This is claimed to be one of the 14 Factory turbo cabs that was then widened after delivery ... PTS of course, in some shade of silver/green .. (drool ...)

The Turbo Cab looks great, except for the Porsche crest on the conv top. The Blood Orange Turbo is very cool, too.

 

I know ... wtf is up with all the crest stickers on cars in Europe? And .. on that car??? and then .. how did they get it to stick to the top? Is it a cloth one that's been sewn on????

The lettering on the parking stop was the first clue and then the outside mirror, front wipers and rear wiper delete plug pretty much confirmed it. And yes, I do need to get out more!

Very cool. Looks just like Audi RS blue (The 1995 color, not the Nogaro with metallic in it). My favorite color ever on a Porsche .

 

....and as far I know (or have been told) Audi's "RS Blue" was lifted from the Porsche Color palette to further the tie between Porsche and Audi on the RS2 build. It is supposedly Porsche "Maritime Blue".

 

It's actually a big difference between Audi RS blue and Maritime blue. If you see them side by side you will know what I mean. The main difference being that Maritime blue is much more purple than RS blue. Maybe you are too used to "seeing purple" . Both are great colors regardless. Audi RS blue though is very similar to VW Jazz blue, a very common VW color at the time.
