I bought that car. It was actually my car till 4500 miles bone stock next owner bought it and sent to RUF for the mods....So when it came up for sale again I could not resist as I know the car was 100% mint for the first 4500 miles. Car is a total monster would like to get a set of RUF 18 inch silver wheels for it thats all I want to change but having a hard time finding a set as they no longer make them....
Not a Turbo R. That's a re-working using the stock 3.6 litre motor. This is a 3.8 conversion - new pistons, cylinders, etc. It was a very cool process to watch. Ruf Dallas did the conversion.

Congrats on getting it back. You did the right thing and you're right - it's an absolute monster. Any word as to why the guy that did the conversion sold it so quickly?

So this is a Ruf turbo, but not a Ruf turbo R. So a Ruf turbo 3.8. Might be cool to have a 3.8 beside the turbo badge like the 964 turbo 3.6. Give your self a distinction above a mere 993TT lol.
