AW21 didn't know so I think he's done nothing wrong in his transaction.

The current seller, well he does state "ask questions prior to bidding" so let's hopefully assume he does the right thing.

I bet it was simply a rear end re-spray, if there was some serious structural damage it would be quite obvious and already stated by now on threads. These cars are 15+ years old, like just the front end etc you will get re-sprays. For that price with those miles that's a decent buy for someone.

Wow, the guy post the car for sale on Ebay, no disclosure. Ad is now pulled. Over on 6speed some guys posted his Ebay add stating how much a hypocrite he is. He now responds that he sold the car, and its no one's business, and no one will know how much he chose to disclose.

Funny now its no ones business, but when he felt screwed over, he made sure it was everyone's business.

I'm not a lawyer but the word FRAUD comes to mind here. Maybe he did come clean to his new buyer but I bet you he isn't.

I feel a bit traumatized by the ordeal. I'm starting to realize the guy is a bit "off" and all over the place.

I bought it in the middle of 2011? It's a car disease I have and impulsively purchased it as I always wanted a tt. Bit off a bit more than I could chew as I also have a 993 C4S and restoring a 73 Bmw 3.0cs which is adding up fast.

To "me", the 993tt was so clean, I just didn't want to take it out so figured, play/mod w/ my C4S and focus on my bmw. Don't need 2 993's and posted it for sale.

Wow. This story is just getting more and more twisted and it seems to be all in his own head. That is an awesome car regardless of what he says and he calls it worthless to me and then advertises it as a gem again.

Man, I'm exhausted and done talking/thinking about it.

The $4K receipt on the top of the stack (in your photo) is dated July 7, 2011. The PO's name is on it.

Correct. So then I actually picked it up from him that day. 7/7/11 as I picked it directly from the dealer after that service. We did the transaction there on the spot.

I knew it wasn't over. His South American friend (ie. Miami resident), bought his car, or reselling his car.
Take it off the market a bit, let the viz die down, maybe no one will see when we put it back up for sale.
