I plan to lower the ride height of my 97 turbo as it is US stock now. I have 2 recommendations:
1. P93082: Bilstein HD + RoW 993TT springs (bilstein B6) from Carnewal.
2. Bilstein HD + RoW 993 TT spring (Bilstein B8) from FD Motorsports.
Anyone can tell me the difference and their experience?
I am not considering the PSS10s as I don't track the car.
Thanks.

I ordered the "1." set up from Gert - primarily because after and exchange of e mails - and my desire to keep the car as OEM as possible (that is with European spec), I felt best about this set-up and Gert's advice....went with that. Gert really knows the Porsche brand well and bought lots of product over the years. As I recall, the B8 is simply the evolution of the B6...and essentially the same within the Bilstein line up - but I can't remember for sure so one of the guys will chime in I am sure. My plan is to enjoy DE (lapping days) with my car every once just to let it run a wee bit - B6-B8 being entirely suitable for that task.

B8 is for lowered suspensions. You can order B6 and B8 from Gert. Gert can probably advice you on the decision between B6 and B8. From what I know, both work on our cars. Which works best, I don't know.
From what I understand PSS10s are a far better option, also for street use.

I don't track my car. I have PSS10s on mine. And I had the MO30 Bilstein set up on 2 prior 993s. The PSS10 is far superior to the MO30 set up - primarily because you can adjust it to your liking.
You can either adjust it based on the driving you plan to be doing, or adjust it once to your liking and leave it there. You can't do that with the MO30.
I also feel like it is generally a better set up.
I suggest that you consider the PSS10. In answer to your question, I suggest you talk to Fister and see what they recommend.

I just did the bilstein hd with euro m030. See the recent thread with pics, etc. well worth it looks great and handles better. Not harsh at all. Actually soaks up bumps better than my 997!
I didn't do the pss because I also wanted to keep it stock

of the 2 choices i would do gert's set up. i bought his row set up for a previous 993 and liked it. he knows what he sells and his packages are all thought trough. still though i would do the pss10's .... i don't track my 993tt and i couldn't imagine a better ride for the street. besides it adds value. do it once, do it right and when you go to sell it, someone will thank you.

The real answer to this question is any of the above and 3.
(GT2 upprights and tie rods is 3.)
I cannot overstate what a difference the GT2 uprights and tierods make to a lowered car.
You keep all of your suspension travel.

I did the PSS10's and RS sway bars 2 years ago and it's very nice.
The PSS10's have 10 diff settings which allows for easy street and track set up.
just my 0.02$
