Tirerack winter tire size ok
They recommend
225/40-18
265/35-18
I will put them on stock wheels (993 c4s)
Not planning to drive in snow but i need them just in case and when it's around freezing.

225/40-18 25.09 in
265/35-18 25.30 in (taller)
25.30/25.09 = 1.01
As the rears wear, it will come at you towards neutral and then less then 1. With all things being equal, you may have less AWD grip until the rears slip and heat up the VC fluid.
The factory Door sticker Mud & Snow (on 17s) has a 1.01 ratio too. So seems inline with factory, except on 18s.
