hello all,
got a question on my 1 owner 993TT with 35K on the clock.
its time to replace the struts. my car is strictly street use. from what i have gathered the Bilstein HD are the way to go. If this is correct,;
1.) should i change the springs or reuse the OEM ones? (the car is driven in NYC more often than not..........the roads here are a nightmare![crying](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bigcry.gif)
If yes, what brand and part #'s are recommended for keeping the OEM ride height (US spec)
2.) what are the correct bilstein part #'s to keep it at OEM ride height (US spec)?
Thanks for the help fellas

Hi,
If you don't wish to lower the car due to the bad NYC streets, simply retain your stock springs and install a set of Bilstein HD struts & shocks.

thanks for the quick reply. so does that basically mean that the springs dont "wear out" and one would only change them as part of a suspension mod?
