^^ Thanks fella's. Here's a short, low-def video of the day. You might want to pump up the volume.

Yes it does, thank you very much! And you'd know how it actually sounds from inside the car. Do I owe you any residuals for your star performance here ... assuming you do have an Actors' Equity card close at hand?

Default **Update-finallyblackie**

The past two plus years have been the worst of my life, but that's OVER NOW. Well, that's an obvious lie, but I am making an attempt to get back to some semblance of a life. The new to me Boxster in my signature is part of that. So was actually seeing and driving blackie post conversion. I wasn't around for any of it; everything Rick accomplished was done via phone and e-mail. I laid eyes on the car for the first time about two weeks ago and drove it for the first time yesterday, after not having done so for about 18 months. Some observations:

It looks far better in person than in any pictures I have.
The raised tail returns the rear view mirror to being usable again.
The interior feels far more spacious than the Boxster.
The throws on the RS shifter are a lot longer than I remember, after the Boxster.
The interior noise isn't as bad as I had feared, at least not with a helmet on.
The boost ... what can I say? I'd forgotten about the boost.
It's absolutely no problem to rotate the car. It's also very easy to over-rotate the car.
There isn't even a hint of understeer.
I don't believe it's under-tired.
Losing 400+ pounds is very noticeable and very enjoyable.
The boost ... did I mention the boost?

You're losing it Brian - you mentioned the boost twice.

Good to hear phatblackie and you have been reunited - looking forwarding to reading more about your exploits together.

Brian, My condolences go out to you and the family. May each time you fire that beast to life just know that somewhere up there Terri is looking down with a smile on her face. If she is anything like my wife she would want to know that I am still living each day to the fullest and finding joy in my passions.

Best wishes to you.

Chad
