Default What is your idle RPM?

My car with just some exhaust stuff and the Turbo S ecu idles at about 620-650rpm.

What do your cars idle at?

750 or so with lwfw (believe it was lower before the lwfw).

Still waiting to pick up the Turbo after getting a new clutch and LWFW. I'll check the idle, and report later today.

Rufus idles at about 800 rpm (how accurate is that tach?). Its got fairly nasty Ruf cams, so that may be the reason for the faster idle? I still have the dual mass flywheel.

I'd say the idle is about 800 RPM. LWFW, FabSpeed bypass.

As a comparision, the Boxster's idle is 875 RPM (cold idle is a tad over 1,000 RPM).

If I recall correctly from the service manual, it should be 800 a/c off and 880 a/c on. Make sure to duck your head so that you're viewing the tachometer straight-on as your normal seating position makes the needle appear 100-200RPM lower.

Oliver, here's another data point, on cold start-up, the Turbo idles at about 1,050 RPM, until the high idle kicks down. Less than a minute. Air temp was about 50ish.
