Speed Yellow 993 GT2

That 993 GT2, and That 964T Special Edition, located near Manila !!!
I've been to Manila, and surrounding areas, and can say that they probably got the worst roads, streets for driving, anywhere in Asia !
Traffic jam is legendary. As to roads, wasn't that much different than city driving.
You've got 2 true museum works of engineering art. Far as I am concerned, owning these 2 units, one would be hard pressed to find anything else to dream of !
* Buying exotic time pieces from Japan!!! Tag price prohibitive Are you related in anyway whatsoever to the late Ferdinand Marcos
Again, congrats. Enjoy life, man, as it should be...all zee best...always!

Agreed that the Metro Manila area is one of the worst in the region for driving due to urban density, but about 80 kilos and beyond, north and south, you have some of the best driving roads (and scenic, interesting spots!) in the region. You just need to know where to look.
Japan buying - up until a few years ago, price levels were better than Europe for used prime Porsches, plus the Yen was very weak. I bought the 964 at Yen equal to about 118 US $ - now 80! Agreed, prices now generally prohibitive, but they do have some of the very best cars, especially Porsches and Ferraris. Care for a Porsche GT2 (Race) with delivery miles?
I do not think any offense was intended, but for Filipinos who have earned whatever they may have, any reference to Marcos is distasteful. Believe it or not, when Marcos took power the Philippines was the strongest economy in Asia, second only to Japan. Now it is a basket case, and many Filipinos continue to live at a subsistence level due to his legacy. Peace.

Peace... Carlos.
The ref to Marcos, was of course not that intended. As I noticed some Filipinos who've shown pride to be associated with the late Marcos family!! Strange to you, as it may be, since - as you say - he took power at time when the Philippines was performing much better, economy/business wise.
When I travel there, always struck by wide spread poverty. I've always thought, and said it to many, that the Philippines people known for hard work, dedication, deserve much better government. Response was all same: govt corruption inherent in our political system!!
It will take many pages to discuss this, not sure admin is gona be happy steering this board into issues of Political-Economy.....
On my behalf.....enJOY that luscious speedy yellow, ...will you !
Cheers!

That's holy grail stuff right there...
Porsche has done awesome stuff after that (GT3 RS, GT2) but IMO they are nowhere near 993 GT2 or 993 RSR.
