Default Getting New Clutch and LW Flywheel Monday!:)

Well, the Turbo goes in Monday for a new performance clutch, and a lightweight flywheel. My current mileage is right at 49,000 miles. This will be the first clutch replacement, since I have all the car's history.

I am looking forward to seeing how she drives with the new set-up. Just in time for the Memorial Day Weekend Chicago PCA DE at Road America.

They will also do the Rear Main Seal, an early (4,000 mile) oil change (Mobil 1 V-Twin 20W50) and replace the bulb for my ignition light.

You'll love the feel and how much faster the car rev's. The stalling only lasts until you get used to it.
It's a great upgrade.

Hey DriveIt, how ya doing! Fischer Motors does all my work. I spoke to Sol and Eurosport during my research. When the time comes for you, I suggest you talk to 2-3 other shops too, and then decide. If you ever want to test drive my Turbo with the LW flywheel & perfomance clutch set-up, just let me know.

Hey Oliver, Happy Memorial Day weekend!

All is good. The new clutch and flywheel are excellent. Clutch is super smooth, and far less travel than the old one.

Getting acclimated to the new flywheel. No stalling issues. Love the "mechanical" sound. Barely noticble over the FabSpeed bypass, but the sound is there. As far as being more "responsive", I think the car is so responsive already, I don't notice much difference.

Happy customer.

same to you good sir.

glad to hear you're enjoying it. I've only got 35k miles on my clutch (PO replaced it at 45k), so hopefully I won't have to worry about it for a while, but I will definitely consider a LWF when its time.
