Default Help with finding new keys for 993tt

I have 2 keys for my car. One key is stuck out and wont flip in; and the alarm button doesn't work (even with a battery change).

The other fob works fine, but occasionally the key gets stuck in the closed position. Which concerns me as I always worry it won't come out and i'll be stranded wherever I am with a key but no way to get it into the car.... And the whole thing is a bit bigger then it should be.

So. Does anyone know of a place, besides the dealer, to get a replacement for our older 993 keyfob/key? Do I need to have the dealer program it? And do they make something a bit more petite?

thanx!

sounds like you have 2 different issues - one being the defective remote mechanism and the other being the physical switchblade mechanism. As to the latter, your best bet is to convert to the other less bulky style - how to do this is shown here. As to the one that doesn't work, I guess you're stuck with the dealer/ebay etc. See the regular 993 forum for info re programming. good luck
