Cltuch slave & accumulator replaced - bleed time?
Anyone have experience with bleeding the slave after replacing it? How long does this system typically take to bleed? Thanks in advance. I'll take moral support as well

This is funny, I just changed out my Slave and Accumulator on Saturday and wrestled with that exact same question. Two members walked me through the process of bleeding on a Sunday without ever meeting me, this place is golden to a moron like me.

I'm an idiot! I've never bled a clutch system and haven't bled brakes since high school so I was a little confused on the procedure. Seems that you have to keep the TRUNK compartment reservoir full as that is directly where the clutch hydraulics use fluid and the rear reservoir is shared by clutch and power steering. I started to feel a little bit of pressure once I realized this but i'm pretty much done working on this thing for the weekend. I'm doing M030 ROW shocks & springs at the same time so i'm pretty exhausted. Thanks for the response, i was dying to take it for a spin but it's already nightfall in Chicago and i'm exhuasted. Tomorow is another day. This week front shocks and springs, LCA bushings replacement and front diff seals. I'm actually surprised at how easy the intercooler, HVAC and air filter assembly come out so neatly, the car was a pleasure to work on. The clutch slave was definitely a bear of job though.
