Default Looking for a 993TT

Hello, I wanted to fan out to those who own a 993 Turbo and state I am in the market looking. I own a 993 NA and starting my search for the "one". I am very familiar with the well known dealers and websites. I appreciate if you could keep an eye out.

Criteria:
- Lower-mid mileage
- Stock (some mods are ok, especially if original parts are still kept)
- Colors: Exterior (White, Yellow, Guards Red, Blue), Interior (No blues, no reds)
- Excellent service history with records

If you know of a great car please PM me.

Thanks -
Tony

Haaaa..... you're making this hard! My only color criteria was the interior had to be black. Good luck with the search. In the end, it will all be worth it!

I know, it may take me awhile. I'm going for a lighter color this time. The Colorado roads can be tough on darker colors, even though I own a Midnight Blue 993 currently.

Too bad Silver is out because the one (97 silver/blk) I am looking at appears to be clean before PPI. Owner seems to be a straight shooter who also owns a 996 turbo aero. I need mine to be a silver because less people will notice that I got a new car...

I need to sell my 996 first so I don't mind if you look at that one as well. I started a thread on it and have the carfax. PM me with an email address if you want to take a look at it. I have email communications to share.

tony what happened to the white one you were looking at in dallas? it sounds like it came down to the price or did you just not get a good feeling from the seller.

It was just an odd situation, and I couldn't get a read on the car. It almost seemed to be the strategy of the dealer.

I got him to agree to you coming by and looking at it, but he was pushing back around PPI time. He said it had been "PPI like" a couple times, one from a local Porsche tech. I was going to send it to RAC Performance, but he kept wanting me to commit to a price knowing that a car 15 years old should have "thousands" of dollars of work needing to be done. I would ask for more info, and emails or conversation would stop.

Since red flags were popping up (there were many others), I decided not to pursue. The car was for sale at roughly $64k. Two days later, they relisted it at $78k and he said it was sold.

It was just a really odd experience, twilight zone-ish. Thank you to you and Texas993 for your willingness to help. I have an appt to see a red/black here in Colorado next week. Car looks stunning.

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to say thanks for all of the leads, PM and willingness to help. I didn't find the "one".
My wife is 37 weeks, ready to deliver with pre-labor so baby will be here in day or minute, not sure.
My plan is to take the summer and enjoy the moment all things considered.

I will be back at it after summer to pursue the dream again.

Nice picture of the Flatirons, BTW - and the car is not bad to look at, either!
