Well guys and gals, I just tried to make a deal on my car and found that the car was in a front end accident. When my friend and I arrived at Texas Toys years ago to purchase the car, the sales person handed us a car fax that showed clean history. I still have that car fax and its clean. We just ran a car fax and today and it shows front end damage. I WILL BE CALLING TEXAS TOYS !!! The front end damage was reported before my friend owned the car, so how does the Texas Toys car fax not show anything. Guys, if I knew this before posting this car I would have been stright up front with that. As many of you have seen the car, its clean as clean can be. Sorry for any confusion.

So after not putting more than 1,000 miles on the car in the last year, I have figured it should go to a P-Car fan that can enjoy it. Barney has 47k miles on it and I have owned it since 21k. As most of you have seen, I have put a ton of work into him to make the car up to my specs. To be stright forward, the only issue is the dreaded second gear syncro(sometimes). I have spoken with Rick from Deman Motorsports here in NY, and the fix with a new clutch/pressure plate and bearing would be 5k. Taking that into consideration, I'm asking 57k for the car. I have ALL of the removed parts execept the wheels and Cats. I have documented everything on the car since I have owned it and have evey reciept to show. I like it quite a bit myself. I think it is great. And I wasn't saying that there isn't a buyer out there, but I think you have to love the color as much as you love the car. When that person sees it, I think it sells quickly. I know its a great car & the owner has all the right mods and will make the next owner very happy.

Yes, there are "a few" folks who wouldn't go for AV, but I think you'd be surprised at how many DO like it. I certainly do, and I think Barney looks terrific. How loud is it? Tri-state area law enforcement have sometimes been known to frown on overly loud exhausts. Great luck with your sale!

Very cool car..and priced eaxctly right imo. Funny i bought mine with 21k for $74k in 2003 and sold it with 47k for $65k in 2009.
