Default 993 TT vs. C4S - not driven much

I've done a search and there is lots of good info out there on this comparion, but I didn't find exactly what I was looking for on this issue. I'm looking for 1996-1998 car, at it will only be driven about 2k miles per year and stored for about 4 months each year.

I know theTT's like to be driven, so given that limited use, does it push me toward the C4S or is the limited use no any bigger deal on the TT than the C4S?

they both should be driven. I can't think of anything on a turbo that would cause you to need to use it more, with the possible exception of maybe oil flooding the turbos, but that shouldn't happen if everything is correct.

Be sure you drive a TT before you choose anything else... they are habit forming. And I agree with Quadcammer... no serious difference in terms of their use... there's just that extra 100 HP to contend with.

Having been there and owned 2 N/A cars, there still is no substitute for that addictive rush when you hit the throttle.
I agree, all of these cars need to be driven.

Yeah, I went from a 993 Cab to the 993tt. Very similar and yet so different. IMHO, I would go with the turbo. Then you have no where to go and nothing to long for. You will not be sorry.

Go for the turbo if it is in your budget, if not go for the c4s but you will want the turbo.

Once you have boost, it is very very very hard to go back. Go for the TT.

After test driving my first tt and hearing these kinds of comments, I made it my first Porsche. One of the best calls I ever made.
