I think Viper bob had made some a while back, they were 2" pipes. Taz's look good, I tried to make some before too out of aluminum intake pipe but don't have an aluminum welder and used a bunch of silicon joints/2"to2.5" adapters etc. But didn't make sense to me after getting it all together since it had more joints then what I started out with that could potentially come off... Also the angle you need at the turbo end on the passenger side is hard to make without rubbing on something that could eventually wear through. I have the pipe pieces sitting in a box in the garage, might try again sometime...

Graham your parts are on the way, you should have them in 3-5 days. Don't forget to post pics after you change them out!

Cheers!

Sweet, thanks Mike. The new door seals will also be welcomed.

Stopped making them when I left Vortex. Sure they have lost the jigs by now... Too bad. They were GREAT units.

Bob,

Wow. So good to hear your "voice" again. How are things? What's the car in your avatar?

Hey Steve. Things are good. Been really busy here in FL. Hope things are good with you. That is a friends car I was driving at Sebring. A 2000 RS Cupcar. Actually been upgraded suspension wise to RSR. Stupid fast and a blast to drive.

I tried calling the old shop, the jigs were gone a while ago. Wish there was a suitable alternative. Even with all the right clamps hoese etc, if youre running enough boost the hoses are defintiely a weak link.

If a committed number of sales is needed to get this off the ground, count me in...my pressure hoses are ready to be replaced soon.
