Default RS Gearshift Lever in a turbo?

Anyone fitted a RS shift lever to a TT?

Part number 96442401508

Was it easy? Worth it?

TIA

Yeah, I have one as well as an FDM goldenrod. Not earthshatteringly different, but shifts are more positive and there is generally less play in the shifting.

Not a difficult mod to do. Worst part was banging the snot out of the center tunnel.

My recommendation is to get the short shifter from FDM. They found a way to lessen the center tunnel dimple.

Yes.
Tunnel banging was a bugger, but I just took pictures while my tech did it. I posted it on Rlist a while back.

I've never had a car without it so I cannot compare to stock.

I put the FDM short shifter in mine. THe dimple is so slight that you can hardly notice it. Nice set up with the Golden Rod.
