Guys check out this beast of an engine....

It looks like a SEcan EVO race engine, if you watch the gauges it makes its peak torque at 5250rpm (even with 4.0 litre capacity) so some big peaky turbos by RS standards:

TB, amazing stuff.
Would I be right in thinking this sort of perfomance demands rebuild at 50 hours or less?

I think it is 20 hours..... this is a GT2 EVO race engine spec with all the trimmings.

Those a pretty cool videos.

When people talk about hours for a race engine, I assume it means the number of hours for rated power at the track, run at close to red line/max boost for most/all of the time? If used on the street and DE's etc, would it last a long time, and if only on the street with the intermittent run through the gears at air strips/deserted roads would last much longer? Or set the rev limiter 500rpm's lower/back off on the boost a little? So I assume these engines can be set up to last longer for enthusiasts?
