It took just about a year.

Restoration would cost ~ $40k and up depending on choices one makes for example the Sport Seats that are in the car you can get reproduction or you can get originals that are restored that will increase the price.

I opted for a nut and bolt full rotisserie restoration, from the pictures on the site you can see the earlier stages...it is effectively a new car with old technology

I also opted to do somethings that while not correct for the car in question may be period correct, kije the rear seat delete and the door panels...the car originally had AC I opted to have all traces of that removed from a mechanical and body perspective

Simply amazing... I'd love to do something like that...

So all in it cost around $50-55K?

Hello , I saw your signal yellow '72 T in mid resto early last spring when Cal Porsche Resto brought it
on a car dolly to the Costa Mesa porsche only swap .
It was amazing then and spectacular now! Its incredible the amount of obvious manhours that must
go into the level of detail finish this car exhibits.
I have a few early S's coupes and none are quite to this fit and finish ...nice piece! Bert

WOW, a man after my own heart!! What a great car and just at a time that I've begun the itch to so something very much like this. An E coupe would be really cool, 1972 or 73 would be fantastic

Just, WOW!
