I have been driving TT for last 5yrs,also I drive 62 356B and 73 911E as weekend driver.
Last month I got to drive a 2010 997.2C2(not S) w/19''wheels,6sds and PASM.I was impressed by how 911 has evolved. It was so smooth, tight, responsive ,light and nimble.Engine had good lowend torque and eager to rev. Only complain was that exhaust note was ok ,but needs to be more musical.I thought this will make perfect daily driver.
So What are your longterm impressions of 997 ? I probably not trade TT for 997.
I would not want to make mistake buying a 997 and get bored with it later becauseI usually keep my cars for long years of enjoyment. Thank you.

I don't think you can go wrong with a 997 as a daily car although the ride can be a bit stiff, especially with 19s. I'm not sure how you felt it was "light and nimble" compared to any 993, but it is a nice car to drive.
I don't own one and personally prefer cushier daily drivers, but if you like porsches, the 997 is a good one.
