Default Rear Wheel Spacers?

What are you guys running spacer wise on the rear of your TT's with standard suspension and wheels? I was thinking 18mm

I tried a 1" spacer on Waldo, with 10.5x18 Kinesis wheels and 295 Yokohama tires, and experienced some weird, unexpected handling. Rufus uses a 1" Ruf spacer on 11x19 Ruf wheels and 315 Toyo tires... handles like a dream. Go figure... I don't get it.

Doug,

More likely... the tires. I may have had a mismatched pair. I don't remember. But the spacer made it pretty weird.

What is the ET of the wheels you are using?
That is a primary determinate if spacers are desired / required.

He said standard wheels. A lot depends on your ride height and camber. I'm at almost RS ride height with - 2.4 camber and 8mm works just fine. Can't really say about 18mm as I don't have the spacers on my car right now to see how much room is left.

That looks pretty good...what brand of spacers did you use? Source? I'm thinking of reducing the spacers and going with a wider tire.
