Key changes to produce the Ferrari 430 Scuderia

Aerodynamic

•Deeper, reshaped front bumper
•Deeper, reshaped side skirts
•Changed rear deck shape with raised leading edge
•Larger defuser, extra vanes
•Re-routed exhaust pipes to allow greater airflow through rear defuser
•Total down force now 310 kg at 200 kmh, up 30 kg with no increase in drag.

It's all in the undertray diffusers!

Yeah I get it about diffusers, my Carerra GT had a pretty effective one and the car felt mega planted at 196mph....... I just think the 944 turbo numbers look wrong -they are most likely for a modified track version rather than the cooking road 944t ?

I assume we are talking of the wing at left of picture?
Malcolm, I think the wing on the left is off a 964 ? the 993RS one in question has the air inlet thingies on the sides, a bit like the 993GT2.....

Oddly, the ALMS Ferraris have the same size rear wing as the Porsches?!

Some folks talk about front downforce from the perspective of the splitter.
But we know there's much more involved. as the car combines lift and downforce,
at the same time to produce a net # over the front and rear.
The 993 headlamps look like they give the cars some downward push.
Does anyone have an idea of how much total front downforce the S & TT's make?
