Default spare for 355mm brakes

If you have 355mm front brakes, you probably know your factory spare won't fit. If you want something better than a can of fix-a-flat, the solution is to get the 17" spare that came on PCCB equipped 996TT and GT3. I had a heck of a time finding one, but of course now that I have one, there's another for sale in the member classifieds. It was posted a few days ago. It's a .02, mine is a .03, but I think they are the same. No affiliation - just passing this along. By the way, it will not fit in the spare tire well.

It will fit kinda, just not all the way flat. I just bungee it in place. I only carry it on roadtrips or to the track.

I'm not 100% but I don't think the stock spare fits over the big reds (up front) either.. I recon you'll have to put a rear wheel up front (if you get a flat up front) and then put the spare in the rear..

the owners manual says the opposite...if your rear tire is flat put the front on the rear and the spare on the front. I don't think the rear tire will even fit on the front. I use AAA if needed. also I lke my stock spare in place for structural strength in case of accident.
